EDDIE SHAW

Eddie grew up in Meriden and studied Fine Art at the Hartford Art School with a major in book and editorial Illustration. After working in New Haven as a freelance artist, illustrator, and art instructor for several years, he became interested in tattooing professionally and apprenticed under Mark Savaikis at Tattoo International where he had gotten his first tattoo years earlier. Ed has now been tattooing for over four years, including recently a year overseas while deployed to Afghanistan with his Army National Guard Unit, where he tattooed out of a small green tent in the desert to pass the time when times allowed. He is currently home for good and back to work at Tattoo International.
